So, tomorrow will be my only day driving in the carpool this week. It is my chance to improve my "wild" driving skills. One of the carpool members always holds onto the door when I go around curves and apparently my lead foot is scary. I've considered myself a fairly good driver in the past, especially considering my roots. My parents are "wild" drivers and somehow see the road as a huge video game that must be won. It is hard to overcome genes.
Either way, I will try my best to drive within 15 mph of the speed limit, take turns a little slower than I would like (you should really speed up halfway through the turn), and put more space than two car lengths between my car and the next. I really don't think that I get that close.
But, through it all I have assured them that I always look in all my mirrors and always use my blinker. Now that is more than you can say for most people, isn't it?
