Things that annoy me

Right or wrong, I am annoyed today. It will go away, but sometimes annoyances must be allowed a voice...even if for brief moments.

What's annoying me?
  • Living in a condo
  • Living in a condo and having people sit on the front step like it's their personal deck (we don't have personal decks)
  • Receiving wedding announcements from "kids" that I've never spoken to and have barely spoken to their parents (the younger the folks getting married, the more likely this is to occur)
  • Finding a bug/spider in the house
  • Coming home before the bug bomb smell has dissipated
  • The pundits trying to analyze the market - it dropped OK, and it will continue to do so until it all evens out
  • Bosses who quash ideas that actually improve processes and morale
  • Too much junk mail
  • Walking by people on my walk and feeling obligated to say "hi" at the appropriate distance where they can hear you, but you don't have to add on a follow up comment
  • Running out of garbage bags
  • Gaining 2 pounds after a couple of weeks of losing 2 pounds a week
  • Stressing about things I have no control over
  • Never getting below 100 emails in the inbox
  • Not having access to Facebook or blogs at work
  • Never having the energy to finish painting the last bedroom

Whew. I must be in a mood. Perhaps it's time for me to go into my cave for a while.

I haven't been to your blog in awhile. Good job on updating it regularly. This particular post I found to be, HYSTERICAL! You have such a flair for words and I can totally sympathize with you. I agree with several on the list, especially the wedding announcement issue. Whenever I get one, I just tell myself, I must dress well and look like I've got money because this is a totally "get a present" maneuver.

Anyhoo--have a great day!

- cramps
- your obgyn thinking that your massive cramping NOT during PMS is really in your head
- people who don't keep up with the news or politics but have a definite opinion and solution
- being broke
- the rising cost of everything
- not having office furniture because maintenance forgot to order it... twice
- bad breath

I love you Rebecca. I broke into some emergency brownies at work yesterday and thought of you.
