Temple Photo

It's becoming a ritual. Every time I make the trek to the temple, I have to take a picture. Though my iPhone has limited functionality in the wifi department, it can still handle pictures.

I continue to be amazed at this building. I often have the same feelings I had as a young girl when I first saw it from the beltway. I can't imagine what it must look like to someone who has never seen a temple. We are so accustomed to seeing them in our faith that we could, in fact, take them for granted.

I'm anxious to take a trip to see a few more. Nauvoo is calling my name, but I've tampered that idea down a bit now that I've seen how obscure it's location is - at least for the quick fly in visit I was intending.

Until then, I'll stick with the DC temple and you can be sure there will be more photos.

Snap away! I miss the DC temple - especially when we go to the temple! I miss the layout, decor - all of it. And I have five temples to choose from here.
