Christmas. It is about an older gentleman (played by Jimmy Stewart)
who lives in a basement apartment alone with a cat. He is visited by
carolers on Christmas Eve and invites them in for some hot chocolate.
A little girl with the carolers leaves her gloves at his apartment by
mistake. He lovingly places them on his little tree since her presence
reminded him of all the wonderfulness of Christmas. Mr. Krueger goes
off into a day dream of everything that Christmas meant to him over
the years - the nativity scene, caroling, sleigh rides and leading the
Mormon Tabernacle Choir in a melody of beautiful music.
I don't have anyone caroling at my door or leaving their gloves in my
house. However, people have sent me cards (thank you, despite my lack
of returning the love) and a few small items. I've made a tradition of
placing them on my tree. It makes me happy to walk by it and realize
all of the people that have thought about me this month. It is a
reminder to reach out to others as well.
So, here goes me reaching out - Merry Christmas dear friends and family!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas, Rebecker! Wishing you a happy, fun, healthy, exciting, rich new 2010, too!
Hey I was wondering if you could ask Jessica if I could be on her blog list as a viewer. I have read her blog in the past, but she went private, and now I can't enjoy her fun wit anymore. However, if she says no, I will be fine with it!
Thanks!
Lorena
