Friendships

This week I was lucky to spend time with a good friend. A friend that I met over 30 years ago. We lived in Nebraska for two years during grade school and we went to church together.

Even though I lived there two years, we stayed in touch the rest of our lives. She went on to college, marriage, six kids and a lot of political work. I went on to college, mission, work, college, work and now finally marriage.

Our lives went in paths that we hadn't planned.

And yet, we still get to meet up every few years and catch up on friendship and learning from each other.

I am truly blessed to have so many good friends. They are all over the world and so we can't all see each other all the time, but we can pick back up right where we left off.

Plus, socialmedia can be a force for good. Where physical presence isn't possible, nothing prevents us from communicating but our own life priorities.
