Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon professor that became famous after his "Last Lecture" was broadcast on YouTube, died today.
He gave his last lecture in September 2007, a month after being told he had three to six months to live because his pancreatic cancer had returned.

This has been inspiring to so many people. I know someone at work that has had a live changing experience because of the attitude, intelligence and message of this man. I listened to it for the first time a few months ago and got a few inspirational thoughts from it as well.
He is an excellent example of learning what needs to be learned from difficult life situations.
