It is always a treat to watch the street talent in the DC area, or any large city for that matter. My trip to the National Mall today held the typical enjoyment. This guy had a particularly interesting assortment of sounds coming out of his mouth. So, I left him a buck.
Up the way near the Washington Monument I ran across another group playing some folksy hits and they got a handful of my change.
I have a new goal - always take $5 bucks to the city with the intention of giving it away to the street performers.
It will keep them coming and sharing and it always makes people stop, listen and momentarily just enjoy the moment.
